Steel inspections

The Northern corridor of land is made up largely of compacted fill which results in many projects needing heavily engineered steel as a part of the build.
Your Steel Inspection is critical to your build and longevity of your home. Steel requirements will be based on your site conditions, soil report, existing tree roots, and easements. It’s extremely important to get it right the first time. Once your house is built and on top of the concrete slab, there is no way to rectify the slab or steel within.
Some of the things Uplift Home Inspection will check for are laps of steel, details within the
engineering, membrane penetrations, correct scheduled steel placement, pod placements, and the rib gaps and step downs.
Uplift Home inspections will organise a time to inspect your slab that is both convenient for us and the building supervisor. Once we have inspected your steel and are satisfied with it, we will contact you and your supervisor to advise of the inspection outcome.
When combining our Uplift Home Inspection Steel Inspection Report with approval from your building surveyor you can be reassured and confident it has been completed to a high standard.
You can then continue your build knowing your steel foundations are safe, built to a high standard, and be confident to move forward to the next stage of your new home build the frame with no stress.
