The Northern corridor of land is made up largely of compacted fill which results in many building projects needing deepened edge beams and piers.
Your Pre Slab or Base Inspection is the start of your foundation and steel setup. Your pre slab or base will be engineered from your site conditions, soil report, existing tree roots and easements.
Your pre slab/base is an extremely critical part of your build and it’s very important to get it right the first time and before the steel is placed and the slab poured.
Once your concrete slab is poured and on top of the pre slab or base, there is no way to detect water issues, no way to add deepened edge beams, and no way to add piers or re-compact your pre slab or base if needed.
Some of the things Uplift Home Inspections will check the pre slab or base for are loose fill in the beams, water in the beams, whether the pre slab or base cross checks against the soil report, check approximate setbacks, engineering and if the pre slab or base is compacted properly with the correct amount of toppings.
Uplift Home Inspections will organise a time to inspect your pre-slab or base that is both convenient for us and the building supervisor. Once we have inspected your pre-slab or base and are satisfied with it, we will contact you and your supervisor to advise of the inspection outcome.
When combining our Uplift Home Inspections Pre Slab or Base Inspection report with an approval from your building surveyor you can be reassured and confident it has been completed to a high standard.
You can then continue your build knowing your pre slab or base foundation is safe, built to a high standard, and be confident to move forward to the next stage of your new home build, the steel stage, with no stress.
